Shahid Afridi made one of the more remarkable comebacks in international cricket in leading Pakistan to a crushing 126-run victory over the West Indies in the first one-day international at the Guyana National Stadium on Sunday 14th July 2013.
Shahid Afridi smashed 76 off 55 balls before taking 7-12 with the ball as the hosts were dismissed for 98 in response to Pakistan's 224-9.Pakistan had looked deep in trouble after being reduced to 47-5, but Afridi led a recovery with the bat before tearing through the Windies' lower order with the ball.
